At most one or two litters a year
Terra is currently our only breeding queen. Every litter is planned individually so that there is enough time for pregnancy, birth, rearing and every single kitten.
About us
Three cats and one flat.
We are not a large cattery and have no wish to become one. Terra, Skrillex and Gaia live with us in the Mostviertel — one breeding queen and two neutered housemates.
How we do things
No breeding room
The kittens grow up in the flat, not in a separate room. They know the vacuum cleaner, visitors, the television and the door to the terrace before they move out.
Two in retirement
Skrillex and Gaia used to be our breeding cats. Today both are neutered and naturally remain part of the family. Their calm, adult presence is part of the everyday home in which the kittens grow up.
We also say no
Not every enquiry becomes a kitten. If we get the impression it does not fit, we say so — an awkward conversation beats a cat that comes back after six months.
How to spot a serious cattery
Do put us to the test.
- Are you allowed to see the parents and the home?
- Are you shown health results with date and laboratory?
- Does the kitten leave no earlier than twelve weeks?
- Is there a written contract of sale?
- Does the cattery ask you questions — or only send an invoice?
If any of those answers is no, better not buy there. Including from us.
Honestly
What we do not have yet.
We do not claim anything that has not yet been documented. Terra is expecting her first litter between 11 and 14 August 2026; the ultrasound indicated approximately three kittens. We will only know how many are born healthy after the birth.
It will appear here as soon as it exists — with a date. Anything marked to follow on this site really is still missing. We would rather show a gap than a number that looks good.
Who is behind this
Manuel Ober and Anna Horsfield, veterinary surgeon
Bengalinators is run jointly by Manuel Ober and his wife Anna Horsfield, a veterinary surgeon. We keep this small hobby cattery together in 3323 Neustadtl an der Donau in the Mostviertel. The cats live in our home, not in a facility — visitors see exactly that.
Bengals have lived here since 2011 — Skrillex, our oldest male, was born that year. The cattery is registered with TICA. It has been notified as a hobby cattery to the district authority since 2015. Every photo and video on this site is our own.
As a veterinary surgeon, Anna is directly involved in the cats’ everyday care, health, pregnancy, birth and rearing. We still document external laboratory results and specialist examinations with their date and examining institution.

Interested in a kitten?
The waiting list is free and without obligation. We first get to know you and consider whether the cat and home are a good match. A deposit is only due after a binding reservation agreed by both sides; it is credited in full against the purchase price.
