Tell us a little about yourself: flat or house, other animals, children, how much time the cat would have with you. Joining the waiting list is free and commits you to nothing.

We get to know each other

By phone or in person. Where a kitten goes matters more to us than how quickly. You are as welcome to question us as we are to question you.

Allocation and deposit
800 euros
Character shows from the fourth week. Only then do we allocate — not from photographs taken in week one. Once your kitten is settled we send you a payment link. The deposit is credited against the price.

Handover at our home
800 euros balance
Twelve weeks at the earliest. The contract is signed in person, not online — more on that below. You receive the EU pet passport, pedigree, vaccination record and food for the first few days.

800 euros fall due as a deposit once a particular kitten is reserved for you — not when you join the waiting list. They are credited in full against the price.
If a buyer withdraws after allocation, we keep the deposit. That is stated in the contract of sale, which you get to read before paying.
What the price pays for
Responsible rearing costs more than a patterned coat.
Anyone searching for “Bengal kitten price” will find very different figures. What matters is what stands behind them: traceable ancestry, carefully selected parents, health screening, veterinary support and twelve weeks of rearing as part of everyday family life.
A high purchase price is not a quality seal in itself. That is why we show results with dates and laboratories and state clearly which documents and services come with a kitten.
The cost of a cat over many years
A Bengal can be part of your family for up to 20 years. Throughout that time there are ongoing costs for food, litter, routine veterinary care, insurance or a reserve, and safe climbing and enrichment. As a rough planning guide, we currently use 700 to 900 euros per year; illness, surgery and future price increases can make the actual cost considerably higher.
From all across Austria
A good home is not a matter of province.
Our cattery is in Lower Austria, but the right home may be in Vienna, Burgenland, Styria, Carinthia, Upper Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol or Vorarlberg. A longer journey is not a reason for exclusion.
Handover still takes place in person here in Neustadtl an der Donau. We do not ship kittens. Anyone coming from farther away therefore knows from the outset what journey collection involves.
Why not everything online
The contract is signed in person.
Anyone who orders something without having seen it may return it within 14 days without giving reasons under Austrian distance-selling law. For things you could otherwise have handled in a shop, that is exactly right.
For a living kitten it would not be. An animal that comes back after ten days has lost its home twice. So we sign together at handover — then it is not a distance contract and the question does not arise.

Why does a responsibly bred Bengal kitten cost so much?
The price does not pay for the spotted coat alone. It also reflects responsible selection of the parents, documented ancestry, health screening, veterinary care, vaccinations, microchip, documents, food and many weeks of raising the litter at home. A high price alone is no proof of quality, so ask to see the records behind it.
What does a Bengal cat cost after purchase?
A Bengal can be part of your family for up to 20 years. In addition to the purchase price, budget for quality food, litter, routine veterinary care, insurance or a veterinary reserve, secure climbing space and enrichment. Our self-check currently uses a rough planning figure of 700 to 900 euros a year; illness or an accident can make an individual year considerably more expensive.
How old are the kittens when they leave?
At 12 weeks at the earliest. Before that a kitten has not finished learning from its mother and littermates what it needs for the rest of its life. We do not make exceptions, however much anyone asks.
How do I get on the waiting list?
Through the form on this site. It is free and non-binding — the entry commits you to nothing and us to nothing. We then get in touch and arrange a phone call or a visit.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, but only once a particular kitten has been allocated to you — not for joining the waiting list. It counts towards the price. Nobody pays anything before we have met.
Can I buy a kitten online or have it shipped?
No. The contract is signed in person at the handover, and we do not ship kittens. That is not red tape: you should see how the animals live, and we should see where the kitten is going.
Can I visit you beforehand?
Yes, by arrangement. We are glad to show you how the cats live — and it is part of the process rather than a favour.
How can I recognise a responsible Bengal breeder?
You should be allowed to see the cats and how they live, receive health results with dates and laboratories, get a written contract and never be pressured into an early handover. A responsible breeder also asks about your home instead of merely sending an invoice.
Why does a Bengal kitten need a pedigree?
A pedigree documents registered ancestry; it is not a health guarantee. It makes parentage traceable and belongs with every kitten we place, together with the contract, health documents and EU pet passport.
