Animal keeping
Hobby breeding with one queen. Anyone placing up to three litters a year need only notify the district authority informally; the licensing requirement under § 31b(2) of the Austrian Animal Welfare Act applies only above that.
We breed as a hobby, not as a trade. In concrete terms: one queen, at most one or two litters a year, kittens grow up in our home in the middle of the family and are handed over by us in person. We do not trade in animals and do not broker other people’s.
